Respect

Since young we were always thought to give our respect to the elders, whether we know them or not. But as I grow older, I suddenly feel that not all old woman and man deserved to be respected because they themselves don't respect others.

Most of them always feel that since they are old, they can do anything they want.

For example, me and hubby went to the market this morning as usual. While I was looking around for things to buy, I saw a woman in her 30s with a baby stroller. She was alone and was having difficulties pushing the baby stroller through the bumpy roads. If you've been to the morning market in Section 17, PJ, you would know that it is very crowded.

I took a pity on so I chose to stand aside and give way to her. But suddenly 2-3 old women push by me and walked over to the woman's direction. As it was very crowded, the woman have no choice by to walk backwards to give way to them. At this point, I really hated those old peoples. Why can't they just stand aside and let the woman with the stroller pass first? It's not like they are rushing or something because after they push me away and walked pass the mother, they went to the chicken stall and stood there looking at the chickens. Just because they are old, they think they can be rude and get away with it.

I just wanna say this to all the old people out there, if you want people to respect you, learn to respect others too. It's such ashamed that peoples your age are still acting like immature girls that don't know the word respect.
