The Last Day At Work

The last day of work was an awkward and weird one for me. I was rushing the whole day to finish up my work. And instead of the usual Farewell Lunch on boss' treat (which are the norms in other company), I had to go down to the organic shop downstairs to buy us lunch. -_-

My boss was nonchalant about my resignations. She was showing me that I can still do well if not better without you attitude during the past 5 days.

That evening, she left earlier than me and had asked me to return her the keys the next time I come to collect my final salary cheque. She said she trusted me so there's no worries that I'll break in and steal away her gowns. Before she walked out of the door, she sing songly said 'see you again' and walked off leaving me alone in the office. That's how my last day went.

She was so dramatic and disappointed about Su Sien's resignation but so laid back when it come to mine. It made me feel that leaving is the best decision I've made in my career.

Goodbye... I guess we are now officially a competitor.
