An Accident In KLCC

15th June 2010 will be a date that I will never forget as long as I live.

It was about 1.00pm in the afternoon when me, mom and Sukorn had gone to KLCC for some windows shopping. As we reached in front of Chameleon, a hair accessories shop, mom went in to buy some stuffs while me and Sukorn waited outside. As Juice Boost is only nearby, I brought Sukorn over to get some fruit juice. He was in his stroller.

I ordered a glass of "Water Works" and played with Sukorn while waiting for my fruit juice. When the fruit juice was ready, I stood up to take it and the next thing I knew, Sukorn had fell off his stroller.

Sukorn was crying really loudly with his face on the ground. I put the juice aside and squated down to carry him up. And I was shocked to see blood streaming down from his head. A lot of blood.

I was panic and the next thing I know, a man came up to me and suggested that I bring Sukorn to the nearest pharmacy. He helped me pushed the stroller while I was carrying Sukorn in my arms. And both of us ran to the pharmacy which is on the other side of the mall.

Inside the pharmacy, the pharmacist helped cleaning the wound. Sukorn kinda calmed down when I put him on my lap. He was even reaching for my fruit juice. But cried when the pharmacist came with the cleaning tools.

While we had Sukorn's wound cleaned, the good man asked if I was with anyone else in the mall and I gave him my mom's number as she still didn't know about the mishap. As my mom wasn't answering the phone, he ran back to Chameleon to get her. My mom was in shocked upon see-ing bloods on Sukorn's shirt.

After the pharmacist had done cleaning the wound, I paid for the cottons and bandages. I was kinda pissed when the receptionist took her own sweet time just to look for the price of the items that were opened by the pharmacist.

As the wound was kinda big, it was around 1.5 inches long, we went up to KLCC Medical Center to have it checked.

The service was good as we were rushed into the emergency room and the doctor came immediately to have a look at the wound. The doctor then told us that it was only a small cut and asked us not to worry about it.

She then applied some "glue" to the wound to close up the teared skin. Sukorn was crying really loudly throughout the process. I was crying too because it was really painful to watch him in pain.

After we are done, we paid for the consultation and medical fees. Sukorn was given a bottle of antibiotic. While waiting for me to pay, Sukorn had fell asleep in my mom's arms.

We put him back in the stroller so that he could sleep comfortably. We then went to Isetan to get a pair of new clothes as Sukorn's shirt and pants had been stained with blood.

Sukorn was awake when were done and we brought him to the baby's room to feed him with milk and changed him. We took the taxi home after that.

I felt so bad after the incident. It made me feel even worst when both mom and Fire didn't scold me for my carelessness. Both of them reminded me to be extra careful in the future.

After a few days had passed, I felt better. I was glad that nothing major had happened and Sukorn was still his active self when we got home. I was glad that there were no sharp edges on the ground. And I was very thankful for that kind man that had helped me out when I was in panic attack.

I am glad that the wound is healing up and Sukorn is still as active as ever. :)
