Baby Sukorn's 1st Birthday

"Time flies when you are enjoying it"

This is one of the phrase that I bet you have heard it over and over again but is always true. Compare being at home and being at work, the clock always seems to move slower when you are in the office, well, unless you hated your home.

In the nick of eye, Sukorn is now a 1 year old baby. He can now walks on his own without needing to hold on to anything. It seems like it's only not long ago when I was still pregnant.

On Sukorn birthday, the 4 of us went to National Zoo in the moning. BAD CHOICE! The weather was hot and humid. And instead of looking at the animals, Sukorn chose to look at the visitors instead and ended sleeping in his stroller all sweating while we were baked under the sun. And the ticket is so so damn expensive. RM20-00 per adult.

Yes, we paid RM60-00 to be baked under the sun and to look at dying animals.

Animals there were all looking half dead. The monkeys even shoved their hands out of the cage to pull and eat the grasses grow outside of the cage. That's how bad it is.

ANd that's not all. food sold inside the zoo and so so so throat-cutting expensive as well. After walking for like an hour, we were so thirty and hungry we stopped walking and bought some food and drinks from a mini stall.

2 bottles of 500ml mineral water
2 cones of ice cream
1 pack of pop corn
2 pcs curry puffs

= RM36-00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's how crazy it is. So next time if you insist of going to the zoo for a visit, REMEMBER to bring your own water and food instead. Don't be stupid like us.

After the zoo, we went to the nearby McDonald's to have our lunch. And we fetched mom and baby home for a rest while me and hubby went to Carrefour to get some foods for the night's party.

We bought some nuggerts, drummets, cocktails drinks etc for the party.

It was fun looking at the food turning all right for the party. And the best part was, everyone arrived with a present. HAHAHAHAA..

We then had cake and everyone sat down for some chit chats before they were off to their homes.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you guys again for coming to the party and to celebrate this important day with us. And to those who went to Bali, we shall party next year!

Chinese New Year is just a few days away. I'll be flying to Penang with mom and Sukorn this Friday while Firewire will be driving to Malacca and will be joining us in Penang a few days later. It's too bad that Valentine's Day falls on the same day as the first day of Chinese New Year. But as they said... if there's love, everyday should be a Valentine;s Day. But hey...who gives their wife presents everyday huh???

Anyway,

and
