Another 3 days to our little precious's fullmoon and another 13 days to the end of my confinement. This entry is nothing informative, I just wanted to rant because I'm upset. Very UPSET!
I don't get it. I really don't. I don't understand why some people like to take pictures of other people's baby so much? Like if it's their baby, it's understandable because they wanna keep track of how the baby look like day by day. But for friend's and families of the parents, how likely are they gonna look at the picture for the second time after they took it?
And I find it extremely rude for a person to take picture of other's precious without asking for the parents permission. It's like they owned it. What's so hard about asking, "May I take the photos of him?" It's not really that hard, but some people chose to do whatever they like and just snap snap snap away to their heart's content.
Call me superstitious but I refused to have anyone take our baby's picture until his fullmoon. Because the first time we took his photo, he had difficulties sleeping peacefully at night. In the end I'm the ONE who suffered through the night because my baby cried everytime I put him down to sleep. I have no choice but to stay awake the whole night and hold him so that he could sleep.
Call me an old thinker, but the baby is mine and I believe I have the right to say NO to anything which I think is no good for my little precious. Even if the superstition is NOT TRUE!
And I always think that as a parent, we have the PRIVILEGE to be our baby's every first. For example, THE FIRST PERSON TO TAKE THE PHOTO WITH MY BABY! And when others did that before me, I felt very upset! Who the heck gave them the right to do so? I'm hurt, very very hurt.
As if this is not enough, people chose to just simply post the photos on the internet. Heck, I myself DISALLOWED myself to post it on my blog despite so many requests from friends, fellow bloggers, forumers, etc. But some people chose to simply post it just like that, once again, WITHOUT asking permissions from the parents.
Is this the current trend? Like people are no longer need to ask for permission? You can now simply take anybody's stuffs without asking them first?
And if one likes to take pictures of other's baby so much, why don't they just go back and make one themselves?

Whoa ..
I'll just be as angry as you, Saewei. You gotta ask first before taking a photo of a baby, it is a sign of respect.
And I can imagine if there are aunties and uncles wanna take photo, they wouldnt bother to off the flash of the camera, would they. Snap, your baby's eyes go big big swt
I hope nothing harmful comes to your baby, Saewei. Next time just don't let them in lo :)
