2009 Resolutions

0 comment(s)
My 2008 just like everyone else's had been a CRAZY one! It's like a new SaeWei has born in 2008. I've gone through so much, experiencing so many new things that I never thought I would experience. Here are some of the highlights of my 2008!

1) I met and got to know further a wonderful person named FireWire and started a wonderful life journey with him alongside with a beautiful baby boy inside me

2) Experiencing a kick in the tummy for the first time. Did ultrasound scan on the tummy and saw a growing little baby inside. Looking at our baby for the first time had changed the both of us to be more responsible as a parents and it had make all the hardship we went through so worthwhile

3) Left my comfortable home that I've been living for the past 17 years to start a family with husband dearest in Kuala Lumpur

4) Done a lot of crazy and great stuffs with fellow shouters. Celebrated my birthday together, went hiking in Pantai Kerachut for the first time and many many more

5) Went to Malacca for the first time

6) Learnt crochetting through YouTube and had crochet a beanie in a mere 4 hours

And for year 2009, I hope for many more exciting to happen and I hope to learn and gain more experience in becoming a young mom. I can't wait to meet and hold our baby in our arms!!!

And here are some of my resolutions for 2009. I'm not greedy, if I can't do it all, I'm hoping to get at least one done;

1) To GET BACK INTO SHAPE!!!! Marie France Bodyline (if I have the money), Carlifornia Fitness, extreme diet, anything.. yes I'll do anything (which doesn't harm my health) to lose the fats around the hips.. I know I have big ass now..

2) To put what I've learnt to use and start an online business selling accessories from home so that I can take care of baby full time. I'm not sure if I am able to do this but I really want this very very badly.

3) To learn driving and drive around KL on my own XD

4) To go to at least one vacation. It doesn't have to be somewhere far or expensive. To be able to go to Cameron Highlands for honeymoon is good enough.

Yups..not wanting to be greedy thus the super short list, so if I can fulfil all these 4, I'll be very proud of myself already. So please wish me luck!

May you guys have a great year ahead too.

High Expectations

Mr. 9pek9bo blogged about the same thing a few weeks back and now I find myself facing the same thing. High Expectations~

This is one very common thing that had happened to everyone of us.

When young, during our studies, our parents expect us to get a good scores in our studies. When we got a B, they expect us to got an A in the next exams or tests. When we got an A next, they'll somehow expect us to get full marks in the papers. And if we failed to maintain the As and get a B, they'll felt trully disappointed and somehow managed to make us feel bad.

I pitied some children where their parents expect them to be at their best when they are still in their young age. Some were sent to kindergartens as young as 2. Some were sent to to learn piano, violin, art classes, drama classes, arithmetic, language classes, swimming, tennis, etc all at once. And when the child failed to show any good results as they weren't interested or simply not ready to absorb so many things at such tender age, the parents will once again feel disappointed because their children is not as perfect as they want them to be. It's no wonder, the suicide rate of young children are increasing every year.

When you are into your adulthood, your boss expects you to do more than you are able to and more than what you've been paid too. If you aren't able to comply to what the boss had expected, he'll make you feel like you are the most useless person in the world.

In your marriage, your husband and in-laws will expect you to be a wonder woman. You are expected to have ahigh paying job so that your husband is not the only one who provides food on the table. At the same time, you are expected to be fulltime housewife that does house chores and cooks everyday.

When I first got married, I was asked, "Do you know how to cook?" And my answer to them is yes because eventhough I'm not a good cook, I'm very proud of myself for being able to prepare a decent dinner for my husband during the weekend and my off days. But now, I was asked a totally different question, "How often do you cook?" I was totally surprised because I never see that coming.

I am now expected to cook everyday. I told them that by the time I reach home from work, it'll be almost 9pm already. But it wasn't acceptable to them because I have plenty of time in the morning to cook because I start work at 10am. And if they can do it, so can I. I'm upset, very upset because no matter what I do, it'll never satisfied them. I'm sure that if I really wake up early everyday to cook, they'll somehow expect me to do something else next. God damn it! It really sucks!

But luckily, I have one understanding husband that will never expect me to do anything that I don't want to and I'm very grateful of that.

I'm still wondering what they'll say if I was to tell them that I hate cooking and I despised the kitchen. Will they have lower expectations on me?

Anyway, I love this picture, thank you Mr,Injured a.k.a Nathan (eh who took it ah??)

C For Crochet

2 comment(s)
This is something that I'll be spending my time on during a-month long confinement which is coming so soon.

I actually planned to do knitting instead but the auntie in the shop had given me the wrong needel thus crochetting I'll do then because after looking at several basic crochetting videos, it seems like it's very much easier than doing knitting. So crochetting I'll do!

Anyone out there who knows how to do crochet? I need more guidance on crochetting a small gloves/socks/beanie for my baby boy.

I'm supposed to buy baby blue/pastel blue colour yarn but they don't have that colour so left with no other choice, I bought PINK!

The colour is so sweet kan??

AND WHO SAY BOYS WHO USES PINK COLOR ITEMS ARE SISSY???

Btw, I love this song very much. It's so touching it'll make you cry although there's only about four-five words used in the entire song.

Enjoy it~

Brokeback Mountain Rulez!

*there are some hot kissing scene in it, so if you are watching this in the office, pandai-pandai lah

Of Fat Lazy Man, Smelly Smoker, Doughnuts And Everything In Between

Yesterday, me and Fire went mall hopping to take photographs of the Christmas decorations in KL. One of the mall that we went was Pavillion. It was my first time there and everytime I think of Pavillion, the ONLY thing that came to my mind is J.Co Doughnuts. Only that and nothing else.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.. My first 2 pcs of J.Co doughnuts.

Let's talk about the fat lazy man that I mentioned in the topic.

While having lunch in the food court, a kwai lou approached Fire because he and the girlfriend would like to share the table with us since there are no other empty tables around. Since we are NICE & FRIENDLY people, we welcomed them to join us. The girlfriend (who is a Chinese) then went to order lunch. As you know most foodcourts in Malaysia are self-service, meaning you have to make your order, pay at the counter, wait for your food at the counter and then bring over your food yourself.

So I thought, they probably wanna eat different food so while the girl get her food, the kwai loh sit there to reserve their seats. After a while the gf came back, with not one but two sets of food! She then walked off again and only to return about 10 minutes later with 2 glasses of drinks.

I was like WTH?!?!?!?! How could a man sit there like a paralysed person while waiting for the gf to run around and get him the food???? This is one type of man that I HATE the most.

I wouldn't mind if we are to order different food but if we are going to eat the same thing, I'll insist that my man make the orders. That's what gentlemen do rite?? And they say kwai lohs are the most gentlemen people on earth.. Oh Pleaseeeeee...

My opinion..

Ballsy Bossy = YES
Gentleman = NO

After we are done in Pavillion, we went to take taxi because we parked our car in KLCC.

OMG parking in KL is CRAZILY expensive!!!!!!! RM 6-00 per entry is totalllly throat cutting blood sucking OMGWTHBBQKFC-ly EXPENSIVE!

Back to the taxi, it was about 3pm++ that time and guess how much the blardy anehneh driver wanna charged us for a trip from Pavillion to KLCC? RM25-00!!!!! O_O His excuse was, HEAVY JAM. I feel so cheated eventhough we didn't board his taxi. We waited for a while and when another taxi approached, Fire went to ask the ahpek on how much he is charging. This ahpek wanna charge us slightly cheaper which was RM20-00!! Oik..khi siao.. RM 20-00 I can go for another round of doughnuts already can...

And when Fire asked them to used the meter, both the drivers gave us some lame excuses that taxis in KL no longer uses the meter.. And if they use the meter, they won't be surviving, they will die.. bla bla bla.. SUAK!

I rather walk all the way to KLCC with my heavy tummy than to let you people rob off my RM 20-00.

Anyway, this morning I went to see my Gynae for my weekly check-up. While waiting, a young man came and sat besides me. OMGOODNESS!!!! HE STINKS!!!!! He seriously stinks! Not of his ketiak smell but cigarettes smell. He must have taken 100 cigarettes since this morning to stink like that. Sitting next to him alone gave me a headache.

Omg lah.. I wonder how his girlfriend (if he has one) hugs him ler when he smells so bad. Lucky me his ketiak doesn't stink, or else.....

OMG, it's another 10 days to CHRISTMAS and I can't wait to eat my gingerbreadman. Btw, do I have to keep it in the fridge so that it doesn't spoil?

Homebased Data Entry/Typist Job. A SCAM!

14 comment(s)

I bet most of you guys that looked through the classifieds had seen quite a few of Job Providers providing homebased data entry or typist job which offers around RM 450-RM 750 per assignment. Please do not fall into these scams.

I'm one of the victims that had been cheated by these type of company. I went to the company for the interview and was told that I need to pay them RM168 as a "Consultation and Documentation processing fees." I was further informed that this fees will act as a security fees for them in case I didn't finish or return them the assignments in time. Without a second thought I paid them the money because I was desperately in need of a part time job.

Never in my mind would I thought that this is a scam since I was given a original receipt and an agreement with their company chop and signature on. After one month with no phone calls from them, I've started to get worried.I've called them up asking about the status and was given excuse after excuse on how they are currently facing some problems with the outsourcing companies and will get back to me once they settled the problems.

When I called again the second time, I was once again given the same excuse. At the back of my mind, I know that I've been cheated so I googled the name of the company "Mega Concept Access Resources" and it brings me to this page --> http://asiaparttime.com/

After reading through the comments, I've found out that many out there had been cheated too by various of so called job providers.

You can call me stupid or dumb or any names but when you are desperate, you won't think twice about paying because RM 168 is not much but nevertheless it's not little too. And at that time, I kept telling myself that what if this is for real? If I don't take this risk, I might not find out the answer and will live with the curiosity forever. Now this RM 168 thought me a lesson.
